Potter's Field Trailer!

The trailer for Potter's Field has just been uploaded on youtube! (it can also be viewed at http://www.pottersfieldmovie.com/)

Special thanks to the wonderful Cat Youell for cutting it together. I couldn't be more happy with how it turned out!

And many thanks to Lenny Smith for letting us use his song "I see him dancing" in the film (it's also featured in the trailer). You may know Lenny as the singer of the 'pope-mobile song' (that blasts from the Pope's armored vehicle everytime he visits the United States).

Lenny's an incredible guy and his support for the film has been simply amazing.

SCBFF Film Festival!

Potter's Field was just selected for the Southern California Business Film Festival!

The film will screen at the brand new Ronald Tutor Campus Center Grand Ballroom, located in the heart of the University of Southern California. The details are as follows:

SCBFF Potter's Field Screening: Sunday, March 6th, 2011, 3PM

We are thrilled to be screening at the SCBFF and hope to see you there!

Washington, DC Independent Film Festival!

We are thrilled to announce that Potter's Field has been selected for the Washington, DC Independent Film Festival!

This is our first festival and we are thrilled to be able to premiere at such a fantastic venue! Both producer Cat Youell and myself will be in attendance and the details are as follows:

Washington, DC Independent Film Festival (March 3rd - 13th)
Potter's Field Screening: Friday March 11th, 9:45PM
Gala Theater (3333 14th Street NW, Washington DC 20010)

The Washington, DC Independent Film Festival was voted by MovieMaker Magazine as one of the top festivals for independent filmmakers and hosts its famous "Filmmakers on the Hill" session, which brings together filmmakers and policymakers to discuss the state of the industry on Capitol Hill.

Two other USC films were also accepted by DCIFF: Cat Youell's The Mischievous Case of Cordelia Botkin and Nate Ruegger's Another Life. Congrats to you both! I look forward to seeing you and your films there!
